Terms of Service

1. Service Description
InfraBase is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) configuration management database (CMDB) provided by Brightline Software, Zur Bütenheide 21, 14621 Schönwalde-Glien, Germany ("Brightline", "we", "us", or "our").
The service allows organisations to track IT hardware assets across one or more office locations, manage device records, maintain audit trails, and manage user access. Access is provided through the web application at app.infrabase.tech.
2. Subscription Plans
InfraBase is offered on the following subscription tiers, billed monthly:
- Starter (€19/month): 1 office location, up to 3 users, all core features, CSV export, full audit trail.
- Pro (€49/month): up to 5 office locations, unlimited users, all core features, CSV export, full audit trail, priority support.
- Scale (€99/month): unlimited office locations, unlimited users, all core features, CSV export, full audit trail, dedicated support.
All prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be applied at the applicable rate for your jurisdiction. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.
3. Free Trial
New accounts may access InfraBase free of charge during a trial period. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify the duration and conditions of the free trial at any time.
4. Account Registration and User Responsibilities
To use InfraBase you must:
- Register with a valid email address and provide accurate information.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with unauthorised parties.
- Notify us immediately at support@infrabase.tech if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Ensure that all users within your organisation using InfraBase comply with these Terms.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not use InfraBase to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software that could disrupt the service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
- Resell, sublicense, or offer the service as a white-label product without our written consent.
- Use the service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
6. Data Ownership
You own your data. All device inventory records, user data, and other content you input into InfraBase remain your property. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.
You grant Brightline a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your data solely as necessary to provide the InfraBase service. We will not access your data except to operate and maintain the service, or as required by law.
Upon termination of your account you may export your data in CSV format. We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Service Availability and SLA
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of scheduled maintenance. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (force majeure), including outages from our infrastructure providers.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Brightline Software is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of InfraBase, including but not limited to loss of data or business interruption.
Our aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
By you: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within 14 days of notice. We may also terminate for non-payment after reasonable notice.
Upon termination, your right to access InfraBase ceases immediately. Sections 6, 8, 10, and 11 survive termination.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of InfraBase after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law provisions. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is Germany.
Nothing in this clause affects your rights as a consumer under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.
